SNG Finishing
Weird day..... Wifey had her bi-annual Triplet Garage Sale where all the triplet moms gather together at some church parking lot. Always a nice way to clean out the kiddos closet.
And the wifey always cleans up with these.
3 full tubs of clothes, the swing, a couple of vibrating seats, and over $700 later, wifey came home with a slight smile on her face.
Oh and she did but some good stuff too.
Check it out.....Jaybud is gonna be styling in his used John Deere tractor for the next few years.
Wurd up bitches.....
So, regardless, I was tasked with sitting at home and playing with the kiddos. By 9 PM, both wifey and I were sacked out on the couches.....And then sometime around 2:30 or so, I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep.
So, surprisingly, I fired up 4 SNG's on FT and away I went. Yes, there were alot of folks playing at that hour and it took all of 2 minutes to get 4 tables running. To me, that's just amazing.....regardless.
I digress.
In total, I played 11 SNG's and finished ITM in 7 of them.
Excellent.....
Until you see that I had 4 seconds and 3 thirds. Yep, no firsts.
Blame the end game? Yeah, but it's kinda hard to not call a push with AK twice or open push with pocket T's. It's an annoying trend that I've said countless times when it comes to SNG's. You play turbos, the end game is more of a crapshoot then most.
Both AK's went down to Ax. The tens got called by A8 and lost.
Oh, how about a nice little KQ open push being called by pocket 2's?
Hells yes!
And it sucks.......
I did get my nightly beration from some assclown that just couldn't understand the concept of fold equity.
We were 5 handed and I was in 2nd place when I found 45 of diamonds on the button. The blinds were 100/200 and I open bet to 700. The SB folded and the shortstack BB (with just about 1300 in chips) just calls. This is about as dumb as they come. I'm committed to this hand at this point if I hit the flop at all......
Sure enough, the flop came down 592 rainbow. So I have second pair.
He checks, I pot it and he calls off the rest of his meager 600 chips. I now have about 2K in chips left.
And what did he have????
AA....Aces.....American Airlines.....the rockets.
Turn is another 5 and he's toast.
"Clown"
"Moron"
"Worst player"
"Idiot"
yadda yadda yadda.
The guy hung around for another few minutes giving me grief. It was comical really.
I don't think some people understand the concept of equity in a hand. Once I raised and the SB folded, I was essentially committed to the hand. Even if the BB pushes at that point, I'm getting about 3.5 to 1. That's about as no-brainer as they come.
It's a setup hand where I hope that the BB has enough chips to fold.....and he did with 1100 behind if he does fold. Only a solid hand calls in this spot and I know that.....hence my raise.
Yes, I don't like to have to make the call, but if I don't I should be shot on site. It's fun sometimes when the RNG rewards you.
Did I play this hand incorrectly? I don't think so. The big question was the SB who was the chip leader. If he would have come over the top, then I fold obviously......but once he folded, I was putting them in, until this assclown only calls with over half his stack.
I swear, I don't understand people sometimes.......

That's a pimpin' John Deere ride there, congrats!
That's funny about the assclown's berating comments. Once you made the decision to go after the blinds, you had ZERO choice as to how the hand played out the rest of the way. Did villain really expect you to fold there somewhere?! ALL he saw was AA fall to 54, and decided to attempt to berate his opponent without any appropriate perspective. What a tool. (Although I can't say I'm surprised to see it, as I seem to witness foolishness like this all the time... evidently assclowns are abundant.)
